Have you thought of cycling in London but been put off by busy
traffic? Do you cycle locally, but would be interested in going further
if you only had help to find your way through London's congested
streets?? Now you can...............
A series of cycle maps covers the whole of Greater London. The
maps show official cycle routes, traffic-free routes and London Cycling
Campaign members' recommendations for quiet routes and cut-throughs.
By showing many different types of routes, they make cycling safer and
easier, as people who cycle will be able to choose routes that avoid
busy junctions and roundabouts.
What's more, the maps are FREE and have been produced by Transport for
London and the London Cycling Campaign. Based on the A-Z, and
produced in colour, they are available by calling 020 7222 1234 or going
to www.tfl.gov.uk/cycling
Most of Westminster is covered by Map 1. Map 7 covers the
more outlying parts of the city. Check the list below
for other parts of London.
