More signs of insanity

Romilly Street in Soho can be a useful cut-through for westbound cyclists. But the signs along the way are confusing, to say the least.

Romilly Street / Greek Street
At the junction with Greek Street, a cycle route sign points straight at a 'no entry'.

We believe that the 'no entry' sign originally had a plate under it saying 'except cycles' - even though regulations do not allow this combination.

Romilly Street / Frith Street
At the junction with Frith Street, what are cycles exempted from?

Here it is the 'no entry' sign that appears to have gone missing.

We are trying to get these signs sorted out, though experience suggests that this is something that isn't quite anyone's responsibility.
