Delamere Terrace: two-way cycling in sight?

Westminster is taking the first step towards allowing two-way cycling along Delamere Terrace.

The council is proposing to make a traffic order to prohibit car parking on the canal side of the street. It will then be possible to remove the bollards that currently discourage parking - and could be a hazard to cyclists. Without the bollards, it is easier to allow cycling along the canal-side footway.

Eastbound cyclists following the Grand Union Canal currently find their journeys blocked on reaching Delamere Terrace, which is one-way westbound. Allowing two-way cycling would therefore be very helpful.
