Bus Complaints

The TfL bus complaints line is: 0845 300 7000; textphone 020 7918 4435 Fax 020 7918 3999; email customerservices at tfl-buses.co.uk. When sending a complaint please record: 

• the bus registration number, 
• the route number, 
• the location 
• the date and time. 

TfL say this enables them to establish if particular drivers are repeatedly mentioned in complaints.

Untaxed Motor Vehicles

Peter Salter writes: Anything we can do to stop untaxed vehicles being on the roads is worthwhile, as the drivers of such vehicles are more likely to be unlicensed, uninsured and involved in crashes than other drivers.

The DVLA has an office-hours hotline for registering untaxed vehicles.  The number is 08000 325 202.  The information needed is:

• registration number
• vehicle description
• an address where the owner lives of is likely to live

Simply noting numbers in a car park is not helpful!
